If your trying to do some West Palm Beach marketing then you probably realize that it is becoming more difficult to get results from your marketing efforts. The problem is that people are not using the traditional advertising mediums any more. Local (West Palm Beach) businesses that are marketing in the yellow pages are getting a fraction of the results they got from that medium in the past. According to a local business owner in West Palm Beach that markets on the yellow pages: ”using the yellow pages for my west palm beach marketing efforts has gotten me little to no results” Les Trafelet.
I had mentioned earlier that some people turn to Google advertising as a quick fix and my response to that is why pay Google for advertising when Google is already serving up local information in it free search results (people are up to five times more likely to click on the free results than the paid for advertising anyway), as a matter of fact even if somebody is not typing in local words Google will still give you local search results back. So why are you not taking advantage of this FREE advertising opportunity, especially when we know that 60% of all local searches on Google turn into a sale.
Strategy 1 – Article marketing: The article that you are reading right now is an example of article marketing. What I did first is, I posted this article to my blog (a very important first step is to get a blog because we know that “companies with a blog average 68% more customers than companies that don’t have a blog” – HubSpot) and then I broadcasted the article out to about 250 different article directories to increase my West Palm Beach Marketing reach.
Strategy 3 – Video marketing: Video marketing allows you to tap into the medium on the internet that is “about 60% of all internet traffic” – Hubspot. Not only are there a lot of people using this new medium but it is a great way for you to develop a know, like, and trust relationship with your potential customer before they ever walk in the door to meet you. Finally, the other great thing about video is that Google is showing video thumbnail pictures in the Google search results. What do you think somebody is going to click on when they are searching for something on the internet, a picture, or a text link that looks like a tax audit???? I think somebody is going to click on the pretty picture myself.

If you are interested in internet marketing or web video and spend any amount of time on YouTube, you know that one of the most important things you can do to build a community around you or your product or business is to get subscribers to your channel. The problem is that it can take a lot of time and work to increase the number of subscribers to your YouTube channel. You can literally spend your entire day subscribing to other channels, sending private messages, etc. in order to get new subscribers to your channel.
Additionally, it can take hours looking through the channels to find a people that are interested in the same things you are or that are a match for the content your broadcasting.
Wouldn’t it be great if you could automatically send out friend invites to YouTubers in your age group that have certain keywords (keywords that you choose) in their bio’s, that are active on YouTube (they have logged on to YouTube within the last week, they have a certain number of friends, they have a certain number of subscribers and they have a certain number of uploaded video’s). Also, wouldn’t it be great if you could send out messages to the people that subscribe to you all without breaking any of YouTubes terms of service…. Well you can with a tool called Tube Toolbox.
Tube Toolbox (go to http://www.ryansteinolfson.com/tubetoolbox for my affiliate link) is a great internet marketing tool. I spend about 4 minutes a day gathering people in a list that I will send a friend request to. I then spend another 4 minutes sending the friend requests and finally I spend about 20 minutes a day following up with all the people that comment on my channel and video’s after visiting my channel. If you found this article about internet marketing helpful please subscribe to my email marketing list at http://www.ryansteinolfson.com/go/email and put your name and email in at the right hand side of the page and you’ll get access to my FREE guide also.

I do search marketing in South Florida and I have been exposed to tons of search engine optimization techniques for getting on the first page of Google. There’s social bookmarking, article marketing, back-linking, blog commenting etc. etc. I’ve done them all. Most SEO strategies are very complicated and a lot of the techniques take a long time to implement.
Take for example article marketing…you have to write an article, submit the article to an article directory (sometimes it does not get approved and if it does it can take up to three weeks for the article to get approved), you have to put your links in the article (sometimes the article directory makes the links no-follow so you get no benefit at all from the links after all the effort) and finally you have to make sure that you use a compelling title and resource box etc. That is just one technique.
Before you start with the more complicated search marketing techniques listed above make sure you take a look at your title tag and your description for your web site. If your site is already getting spidered on a regular basis (if you site is older than 6 months old than it is most likely getting regular spider visits about every week) than all you need to do is add your keywords to the title tag and description of your site and most of the time (if you have good keyword relevance) your web site ranking for that keyword will jump up significantly in a very short amount of time.
This is exactly what I found with a client that I recently helped get to the top of Google. The client told me that they wanted to get on the first page of Google for 5 keywords. At the time they told me this they were on page 7 through 10 for about three of the keyword and they did not use any of the mentioned keywords in either their title tag or description, and they were a PR 5 site. I added the 5 keywords to their title tags and in incorporated them into their web sites description, added a Google site map to their site, and uploaded it to Google via Google webmaster tools and within a week I had them on the fist page for one of the keywords and the second page for 4 of them!
When editing your title and description please remember that you have about 65 character to use in the title tag and about 150 to use in the description. Go use your keywords in both your title tag and description and watch your Google ranking soar just like I do for my search marketing clients in south florida.

How do you know how many people are searching for your keywords? How do you know if your ranking is improving? How do you know how many competing pages their are for your keywords? How do you know what pages of your web site are getting ranked on Google? How do you know what the most effective keywords are to target for your niche? You wont know until you use a tool like Rank Tracker from SEO Power Suite.

Check out the screenshot below. Is that 1st page domination or what?
If you have a great web site but do not have any traffic then what is the point? Web video marketing allows you to target you clients when they are looking for you online and it also allows you to put yourself in front of your client and not just a bunch of text. Additionally, people are much more likely to click on a picture then they are a link… that is exactly how Video shows up on Google results… video shows up as a picture and is much more likely to get clicked on then just plain text. Get the picture???
